The NBA Trade Deadline has come and gone, and with it, the time has come to transition to many already trying to forecast what could happen this offseason. The Orlando Magic unloaded their three best players at the deadline, the Houston Rockets sent Victor Oladipo to Miami. There were other moves as well, but one name that has popped up the last couple of years and once again has even after the deadline is Bradley Beal. Beal's name just won't escape the trade talk and maybe never will, unless the Washington Wizards become some sort of contenders while he is there. For now, his name is a target for many teams.
According to Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer, the leading scorer in the NBA so far (31.3 points per game), Beal, is still on the radar of the Miami Heat entering the offseason.
Beal can become a free agent as early as the summer of 2022 and it's unknown to this point whether or not he wants to stay apart of the Wizards for the long haul. The addition of Russell Westbrook hasn't done much in terms of wins and losses for Washington, as they sit at 16-28, well out of the current playoff picture in the Eastern Conference.

O'Connor notes other teams may get involved as well if Beal becomes available in the offseason.
There’s still a real chance Beal stays in Washington for years to come, but as the Wizards rack up losses, teams like the Heat are waiting to pounce. In addition to Miami, multiple league sources say the Celtics, Knicks, and Pelicans are among the teams with interest in pursuing a deal for Beal. – Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer
Assuming the Wizards don't make a run to close out the year, it will be another disappointing season with not a lot of winning. It could perhaps trigger the Wizards into opening up a dialogue on what to do with Beal and the franchise in the offseason.
