Brooklyn Nets fans have yet to see Ben Simmons in action for their team, but they can catch him on Twitch this offseason. Those who have been following him on the popular live-streaming service recently got an intriguing insight from Simmons, particularly about the player the Philadelphia 76ers traded him for, and that's James Harden.

Harden's ability to score has never been doubted. It's a different story, though, when it comes to his defense, perhaps one of the most maligned aspects of any NBA player in this generation. But for Simmons, Harden is the total opposite of what most people and the “analytics” think of him as a defensive player.  Here's Redditor DepressedBenStan with the recording of Ben Simmons' honest take on James Harden's defense.

Simmons sure knows what he was talking about because he's shared the floor with Harden multiple times in the NBA. While Harden's defense has always been a target of critics, Simmons can draw honest takes on Harden's ability to contain attacking players from actual experience of playing the former NBA MVP. In any case, Harden is being paid by the Sixers mostly because of his abilities on the other end of the floor. If he makes his presence felt on the defensive end of the court, then that's just a bonus for the Sixers, who just agreed with Harden over a two-year deal worth nearly $70 million earlier this month of July.

As for Ben Simmons, he has plenty of time to enjoy Twitch for now. But hopefully, for him and the Nets, his back issue clears up totally just in time for the 2022-23 NBA season.
