The Brooklyn Nets may have a brutal schedule to close out the regular season, but they still control their own destiny and have a great chance to make the playoffs, as BetOnline.ag lists their odds at -500. They're +300 to miss out on the playoffs.

The Nets, who are currently seventh in the Eastern Conference standings, caught a break on Saturday evening, as the Boston Celtics rested Kyrie Irving and Al Horford on the second night of a back-to-back, allowing Brooklyn to come away with a huge win.

However, things are not going to get any easier for the Nets the rest of the way.

Brooklyn's next game will come on Monday night as it plays host to the Milwaukee Bucks, and on Wednesday evening, the Nets will take on the Toronto Raptors at Barclays Center.

Following that, the Nets will then head on the road to battle the Bucks and then the Indiana Pacers in a brutal back-to-back on Saturday and Sunday. Brooklyn can hope that Milwaukee decides to rest some guys, but the Pacers, who are fighting with the Celtics for the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference, will probably be playing all of their starters.

The Nets will then end their season against the Miami Heat in a home game that could very well be a winner-take-all affair, as the Heat are also locked in a tight battle with Brooklyn for playoff positioning.

D'Angelo Russell and Co. currently own a record of 39-38 and are tied with the Heat in the loss column. Meanwhile, the Orlando Magic are lurking with 39 losses.
