The legendary Jason Kidd didn't really see eye-to-eye with his former coach with the New Jersey Nets, Byron Scott. Kidd will soon to be inducted to the Hall of Fame and Scott is ready to squash whatever beef he had with the point guard.

Scott recently sat down with Brandon ‘Scoop B' Robinson of the Scoop B Radio to talk about mending his relationship with Kidd. Ashish Mathur of Amico Hoops wrote a piece about the said interview.

“I would hope that somewhere down the line, if we do run into each other, I know myself, I’ve definitely forgotten about it,” Scott told Brandon ‘Scoop B’ Robinson on Scoop B Radio. “It’s water under the bridge. If I do see him, I would just want to congratulate him on his career and everything he’s been able to accomplish. Hopefully, we can go from there.

“I’m happy for him. He put in all the work. Jason was a great player, unbelievable competitor. When there was a big shot to be made, as much as people would talk about how he wasn’t a great shooter, he made big shots when the game was on the line.”

In 2015, Scott put more fire to their ongoing feud when he called Kidd as an [a-hole]. Before that, it was rumored that Kidd was the one who initiated front office talks of ousting Scott as head coach of the Nets in 2004. After guiding the Nets to two straight Finals appearances, Scott was eventually replaced by Lawrence Frank for the head coaching duties.

With Kidd being enshrined to greatness in Springfield, his feud with Scott should now be hanged on the wall to be nothing but a bitter memory of the past.
