An unlikely hero saved the day for the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday, as DeAndre Jordan completed a game-winning tip-in to beat the Los Angles Clippers, 112-108, at Barclays Center.

The score was even with under 15 seconds left in regulation when Nets superstar Kyrie Irving tried to deliver the go-ahead bucket from downtown. His attempt went in and out of the ring, but Jordan made sure to finish the job.

The 7-foot slotman was a thorn to the side of his former team, tipping the loose ball back to the rim to put Brooklyn in the driver's seat. Here's the clutch play from DJ.

The Clippers still had a chance to tie or take the lead, but Kawhi Leonard was called for a questionable offensive foul on the other end. The Nets sealed the game from the line and came away with the statement four-point victory.

This marks the Nets' second consecutive win over a strong Western Conference contender, as they also defeated reigning NBA champions Los Angeles Lakers in their last outing.

DeAndre Jordan pitched in a double-double effort of 13 points and 11 rebounds along with four block shots in 32 minutes. He was near perfect from the field, missing just one of his seven field-goal attempts for the Nets.
