The Brooklyn Nets finally got a win in San Antonio, Texas. Thanks to an incredible evening from both James Harden and Kyrie Irving, the team was able to end their ugly away streak against the San Antonio Spurs with a 124-113 win in overtime.

It took the franchise 19 years, one month and one week to finally grab that elusive win at the Spurs' home floor (via Nets Twitter). The curse is over–for now, at least.

The visiting Nets almost didn't come out on top on Monday after the Spurs rallied with a 10-0 run in the last minutes of regulation to send the game to overtime. Irving missed a point-blank shot, which gave San Antonio one last chance to tie the game with around five seconds left. Dejounte Murray ended up knocking down a long two-pointer at the buzzer to save San Antonio in regulation.

In the end, cooler heads prevailed as both James Harden and Kyrie Irving made clutch plays down the stretch to give the Nets the huge road win. Harden ended with another triple-double performance with 30 points, 14 rebounds and 15 assists, while Irving dropped 27 points on 6of-10 shooting from deep. Even though it ended up quite messy, Brooklyn will be more than happy to leave the AT&T Center with a W.

Monday night's win was a huge bounce-back performance for Brooklyn after they fell to the Dallas Mavericks last Saturday–their first loss in nine games. Now that they're back in the winning column, they're hoping to continue their search for the top spot of the East while waiting for the return of their other MVP in Kevin Durant who's still nursing a hamstring injury.
