The NBA rumor mill has been on fire lately as all eyes are on the Brooklyn Nets. They have yet to trade away Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving and the anticipation grows with each passing day. The league has changed over the years, as we've heard former players complain or enjoy the new NBA. Scottie Pippen shares his take on Durant requesting a trade.

During an appearance on SiriusXM NBA Radio, Pippen revealed his thoughts on Durant. The former Chicago Bulls legend claims he's all for Kevin Durant seeking a trade from the Nets, as he clearly enjoys seeing the players have some power in this day and age.

Scottie Pippen played in an era where players didn't have as much control of their careers as they do now. It sounds like he enjoys the idea of today's players having the freedom to switch teams as they see fit. Although the Nets will be losing a superstar player in Kevin Durant, Pippen just wants what's best for him.

Even so, Durant still has multiple years left on his current contract, as he won't be a free agent until 2026. The Nets have full control of where to trade Kevin Durant, which is why the front office is taking their time. Regardless, wherever the superstar small forward lands, it will surely rock the boat.

Keep an eye on Durant for now, as the Nets aim to trade him before the start of the regular season. Wherever he goes, Scottie Pippen will likely be all for it.
