Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant has lots of admirers but he also receives his fair share of hate, specifically on social media. Well, on Friday morning, KD took to Twitter and sent a rather interesting message to his followers:

Before you freak out, those are lyrics from Drake's song, “Race My Mind”. However, the Nets veteran could be making a point. We know that a lot of athletes love having haters and doubters. Maybe Durant feels the same way?

Just last month, KD was the victim of some serious hate on Twitter because of a photo that went viral of his ashy legs. Durant fired back at his followers because of it. Draymond Green even clowned his former teammate.

Haters or not, Durant is absolutely showing out this season for the Nets. He's leading the NBA with 29.6 points per game to go along with 7.8 rebounds and 5.8 assists. With Kyrie Irving out due to his stance against the COVID-19 vaccine, KD is basically carrying Brooklyn to top spot in the East.

Also, it appears that Durant is a big Drake fan. He's tweeted out lyrics from Drizzy before. Maybe he didn't mean anything by the tweet. But, when the Nets superstar posts on social media, there's always going to be people analyzing it.
