Brooklyn Nets superstar guard Kyrie Irving is an interesting player when it comes to off-the-court things. He has been in the news numerous times before, speaking to the media about his beliefs and views. Most recently, he took a hiatus from the team due to personal reasons, before the Nets acquired James Harden through trade, and did not definitely answer what was the true reason before. He is also active in activism, especially when it comes to social justice.

Thus, it did not come as a surprise that Irving tweeted something cryptic. You can see the tweet below:

Nets fans must be very anxious every time there is a public statement made by the former Duke guard. During last season and his hiatus, Irving was sorely missed as the Nets missed out on the first seed in the Eastern Conference.

Overall, Irving played 54 games last year, averaging 26.9 points, 6.0 assists, and 4.8 rebounds, on 50.6/40.2/92.2 shooting splits. Going into next season, Irving, with Harden and Kevin Durant, will try to achieve what was not done last year and bring Brooklyn their first championship in their history. Hopefully, for Nets Nation, Irving and his superstar teammates will do it and forever enshrine themselves in Brooklyn history.
