It looked like we might finally see the Brooklyn Nets' Big 3 of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden back on the floor together on Wednesday night. But, Irving, who left Tuesday's game with a facial contusion after getting an elbow to the face, will be sidelined.

Luckily, the Nets star avoided a concussion and was diagnosed with just a bruise. Therefore, it shouldn't keep him out long. Meanwhile, Harden makes his return to the Brooklyn lineup. He hasn't played since April 5th due to a hamstring injury.

With just three games left, it's crucial that KD, Irving, and Harden build some comradery ahead of the playoffs. After all, the three Nets haven't played together much all season.

It's probably just a precautionary move by Nets head coach Steve Nash to keep Kyrie out for this Spurs matchup. Meanwhile, Harden's presence on the floor should be quickly felt as the team has gone 27-7 with him on the floor in 2020/21. Without the Beard, they're playing .500 basketball.

Irving is having another tremendous campaign for the title-chasing Nets, averaging 27.4 points and 6.2 assists per night. He will have a few days to recover after the tail-end of a back-to-back on Wednesday, with Brooklyn's next game on Saturday against the Bulls.
