The New England Patriots, owners of an undefeated road record and two straight wins as a road underdog, head to Cleveland to tale on the Browns in yet another game from this week 10 slate where it feels like both teams “have to win.” The similarities do not end there. In this post, we'll be making our Patriots Week 10 predictions.
Both the Browns and the Patriots sit at 5-4 on the year and both will be competing for wild-card spots more than likely than they will be competing for the division this season. Both teams were at one point coached by Bill Belichick, and both teams have a running back from Oklahoma (Joe Mixon for the Bengals and Rhamondre Stevenson for the Bengals.) For the Patriots, they will hope to end the similarities right there and make sure the team's scores this Sunday are nowhere close.

New England Patriots Week 10 Predictions
4. Bill Belichick will call a fake punt or onside kick
Never one to forget history, Bill Belichick absolutely relishes the chance to play his former team. Since taking over as head coach of the Patriots in 2000, Belichick is 7-2 against his former team, including three straight times currently– the Browns have actually not beaten the Patriots in either this decade or the last…ouch.
That isn't gonna change this week if Bill Belichick has anything to say about it. The Browns have been hyper-focused on proving they are capable of winning without Odell Beckham Jr, so maybe there is. a chance they are caught napping and taken advantage of for a fake or an onside kick.
3. Mac Jones will throw three touchdowns
The Browns defense has actually played much better since the shootout with the Chargers in LA followed by the blowout loss in Arizona to the Cardinals. In the Browns' last three games they have only allowed 15 points per game. Along with the last three weeks of good defense, the team is actually fifth overall in overall defense.
That is going to change this weekend when Mac Jones has his first career three-touchdown game.
The Browns are ninth in the league against the pass but they are third against the run, the Patriots know where to attack and that is through the air. Mac Jones' favorite target in this one will probably be a little bit surprising, but…
2. Nelson Agholar will score a touchdown and go over 100 yards
Agholar has yet to truly break out as a member of the Patriots, although he has mainly repped with the ones. That will change this week with his big performance that screams “Odell who?” Ok, maybe it's not gonna be that intense, but regardless, look for Agholar to prove this weekend that the Patriots don't need Beckham in order to win football games.
Possibly showing the team that they have someone who can take the top off of a defense, showing the team they do not need Beckham, and showing the team to themselves, that they are possibly BETTER without him. Hey, that sounds like what the Browns did last week…these similarities are starting to get scary…
1. The Patriots will win on a last-second field goal
With Jones coming out slinging it and the Browns keeping up by pounding Nick Chubb and peppering Donavan Peoples-Jones, the game will actually be a high-scoring affair. Neither of these teams really want to play that type of game, but that's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes.
With two minutes remaining and two timeouts, Jones will lead his team down into Cleveland territory for a last-second field goal. Patriots win 31-28. Very Tom Brady-Esque for the man tasked with the unenviable job of replacing the G.O.A.T. I'll cut it out with the similarities…for now…
