After an underwhelming home loss to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 9, the New Orleans Saints now turn their attention to a pivotal Week 10 road matchup with the Tennessee Titans.
As noted, the Saints were the odds favorite to pick up a win over their NFC South rivals last week but failed to do just that. Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan had his way against a Saints pass defense that currently ranks in the bottom third of the NFL this season in passing yards allowed per game.
This upcoming Week 10 clash with the Titans will surely be a monumental test for New Orleans at this point in the campaign. The Titans have been in promising form as of late, especially as they have reeled off five straight wins to move to the top spot in the AFC standings.
As the Saints sit at a mere one game back of the current NFC South-leading Tampa Bay Buccaneers, they sure need a win over the Titans to keep pace with the reigning Super Bowl champions. If the Saints manage to go on and hit on each of these four feats, then they should come away from Week 10 with arguably their biggest road win of the season to date.

4. Paulson Adebo has a bounce-back outing in coverage
Saints cornerback Paulson Adebo has had his fair share of sluggish performances in recent games.
The rookie defensive back has allowed a passer rating of 100.0-plus and two combined touchdowns in his last two games. With Marshon Lattimore occupying one side of the field, the Saints have rotated between the likes of Adebo and Bradley Roby as of late for the second base cornerback spot.
Adebo surely is in for an arduous test in Week 10 as he is set to go up against Tennessee's formidable wide receiver corps that features A.J. Brown and Julio Jones. It is currently not known on just which receiver the Saints plan to have Lattimore shadow in the game, but regardless of the matchup, Adebo must be ready to clash with whomever he will line up against.
Adebo has had his snaps vary by the week so far this season, but a potent outing in Week 10 could go a long way in him possibly soon emerging as a starter on the team.
3. Mark Ingram posts a vintage performance
Mark Ingram has had his name called quite a bit since his return to New Orleans last month.
The veteran running back has recorded 70 rushing yards on a stout 4.7 yards per rush attempt average through two games with the Saints this season. He may not be the agile back who he once was during his prime days in New Orleans, but he sure continues to prove that he still has plenty left in the tank at this point in his career.
There is a possibility that Ingram may see an increase in snaps played in Week 10. Saints running back Alvin Kamara is currently dealing with a knee injury, which kept him out of the team’s scheduled practice sessions on Wednesday and Thursday.
Thus, Ingram could be called upon to feature in the Saints' passing attack against the Titans, especially in short passing plays.
2. Saints continue to shine in the red zone
For years, the Saints have been one of the more efficient teams in the NFL when it comes to recording touchdowns in the red zone. This season has been no different.
The Saints boast a 69 percent red zone percentage thanks to their 20 touchdowns recorded over 29 red zone drives, which ranks at sixth in the league. Quarterback Trevor Siemian has had some promising success in this area of the field as of late; he has notched three passing touchdowns from 16 red zone pass attempts.
The Saints may be in for a challenge in the red zone in Week 10. The Titans are coming off of a keen showing in Week 9 when they allowed a mere one touchdown over three red zone drives to the Los Angeles Rams.
Still, the Saints should find grand success in the red zone against the Titans, which may be a turning point for them over the course of the contest.
1. Saints move to 4-1 on the road
Saints head coach Sean Payton has well been accustomed to leading his team to crucial wins after losses. And this trend should once again continue in Week 10.
A win for the Saints over the Titans would move them to a keen 4-1 record on the road in the year.
