The New York Giants are set to take on the Los Angeles Chargers in a tough Week 14 matchup for them. The Giants are coming into this one at 4-8 on the season while the Chargers are coming in at 7-5, but certainly have the talent to be much better than a team two games over .500.

Giants Week 14 Predictions

4. Barkley looks much better

Saquon Barkley has been out for most of the season due to an injury. He hasn't looked great since returning but that is to be expected after coming off a lengthy injury. This week, he is finally going to be able to get back to his old self and he's going to rush for over 75 yards and be the lone touchdown scorer for the Giants.

3. The offense doesn't score more than 10 points

The Giants offense has been one of the worst in football throughout the season and that's not going to change on Sunday even though they are going up against a below-average Chargers' defense. They're going to continue struggling scoring points as they will not score more than 10 points in another tough loss.

Unless Barkley can really get back to being his old self, the Giants offense does not have much hope and it's going to cause them to not be able to put up points on the board. This has been the main concern for the past few seasons and is something that they need to address.

2. Defense keeps them in the game until half-time

Luckily for the Giants, the defense has been decent this season. At the end of the day, the Chargers have one of the most high-powered offenses in all of football and that's going to overcome the tough Giants defense. New York isn't going to be able to keep them under 30 points throughout the game.

Going into halftime, the game will be close but after halftime, the Chargers' offense is going to explode and blow this Giants team out.

1. Giants loss by two or more touchdowns

The Giants have not looked impressive at all this season and there's no reason to think that they will against a good Chargers team. They're going to lose by at least two touchdowns but will probably lose by three or more. The Chargers offense is too good for them to keep up with and that's going to cause the Giants to lose this game by 14-plus points.
