Garrett Wilson will be joining his teammate Chris Olave at the next level. The Ohio State wide receiver was selected 10th overall by the Jets in the 2022 NFL Draft following his breakout junior campaign with the Buckeyes.

The 6-foot Wilson put up godly numbers in 2021, collecting 70 receptions for 1,058 yards and 12 touchdowns. He also posted 15.1 yards per catch. Like Olave, he's not the most physically imposing at just 188 pounds. But, Wilson makes up for it in speed and football IQ. The 21-year-old is a brilliant route-runner and shows the ability to find space and outrun opposing corners after the catch.

Although he's not usually a deep threat, Wilson is more than capable of creating separation and taking off downfield. He was always considered a top prospect in this NFL Draft.

Wilson can definitely add some more muscle to his slender frame, especially if he wants to be a legitimate force at the NFL level. But, his overall skillset right now should translate just fine to the league because of his agility, lateral quickness, and soft hands.

The 2022 NFL Draft continues and I'm sure we'll see many more wideouts off the board. Congrats to Garrett Wilson on his special day and best of luck in Year One. Ohio State once again develops another impressive offensive talent.
