The Philadelphia Eagles made an interesting NFL Draft move when they completed a trade with the New Orleans Saints, acquiring future picks while retaining draft capital in the present as well. The move was lauded by some- including this guy– as a brilliant move aimed at achieving more draft flexibility in the 2023 draft. However, what if Roseman made that trade with this year's draft in mind? According to the latest rumors from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Roseman might not be done making draft trades just yet.

Per Rapoport, the Eagles are a “team to watch” as one that could potentially move up in the upcoming draft. As the NFL insider notes, Roseman has plenty of draft capital- as he's armed with multiple first round picks in this year's and next years drafts- to make the move and get inside the top-10.

Perhaps the Eagles, who have needs on the defensive side of the ball, could be eyeing one of the top impact defenders in the top-10, such as Oregon's Kayvon Thibodeaux, thought to be the best pass-rushing prospect in the draft, or “Sauce” Gardner, the cornerback out of Cincinnati who skyrocketed up boards.

It remains to be seen what Roseman will do on Thursday, if anything. However, fans can be certain that the Eagles GM will do everything possible to improve the team when Philly is on the clock.
