Robert Griffin III is not giving up on his hope to make an NFL comeback in the future. In fact, he has a few teams in mind that he believes will be great situations for him and where he is at this stage of his career.

The former No. 2 overall pick last played in the NFL in 2020, and at 32 years old, some might say his best days are behind him. However, he still believes he can play at the highest level of football and shared that there were even teams who contacted him after he ran a 4.48 40-yard dash at the Rich Eisen Charity event recently.

Speaking at the Rich Eisen Show on Tuesday, he then highlighted his desire to join teams like the Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Falcons and Chicago Bears.

“I’ve been reached out to from a plethora of teams,” Griffin said, per Audacy. “Going back home to Texas with the Dallas Cowboys, I know a lot of Washington fans don’t want to hear that, but that would be a great situation for me. The Atlanta Falcons being there with (Marcus) Mariota and (Desmond) Ridder would be a great situation for me. Going to Chicago with Justin FIelds to try to help as much as I possibly can in that quarterback room would also be a great situation.

“I’m happy with what I’m doing (at ESPN), but if an opportunity did arise, I do know that they understand that I still have that desire to play and I would go do it.”

It remains to be seen if Robert Griffin III will get another shot at the NFL. Injuries have plagued his once promising career, and his inconsistent performances didn't help him in landing another NFL job after his last stint with the Baltimore Ravens in 2020.

Hopefully, though, he can be given the chance to prove himself and give a better ending to his career.
