Fans of ESPN's popular “Manningcast” version of Monday Night Football were given some good news on Wednesday when the Manning brothers secured a deal to keep their show on the air for at least the next three NFL seasons. As an alternative to the regular version of Monday Night Football that features Steve Levy, Louis Riddick, and Brian Griese, the Manningcast is known for its celebrity guest hosts, on-air foul language slip-ups and of course, the loving banter between the only two brothers to both win Super Bowl championships.

For those that are new to the NFL, the Manning's were both drafted first overall and both won two Super Bowls. Peyton was the first overall pick in 1997 and went on to lead the Indianapolis Colts and the Denver Broncos to Super Bowl victories. Before Tom Brady did so last year with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Peyton was the only quarterback in the history of the NFL to win it all as the starter of two different franchises. He also holds the NFL single-season records for passing yards (5,477), touchdown passes (55), and has the most game-winning drives in NFL history (54).

Eli was the first overall pick in the 2004 draft and ended up spending his entire career with the New York Giants. He beat the New England Patriots and Tom Brady for both of his Super Bowl victories and each of them were outstanding games. That includes Super Bowl 42 when Manning lead the Giants to a victory over the previously unbeaten Patriots. For as much entertainment as these two provided in their playing careers, they seem to have a lot left in the tank in that department and this contract extension mirrors those sentiments.
