Former Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera is going to be a hot commodity for multiple NFL teams in need of a new coach.

Outside of the Redskins — who are also interested in former Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis — no other team is confirmed to be interested in Rivera.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are a team that could be in the running for a new head coach, with conflicting reports on whether it'll keep Doug Marrone. Atlanta is confirmed to be keeping Dan Quinn, so teams without openings are unknown.

After being fired by the Panthers in the middle of the season, Rivera will be one of the most sought after coaches in recent history.

Rivera spent his entire coaching career thus far with the Panthers, with a 76-63 record through nine seasons. During his tenure, the Panthers made the playoffs four times and made the Super Bowl during the 2015-2016 NFL season.

Rivera is best known for being very relatable to his players, acting as a good friend and mentor to his players, teaching them not only about the game of football, but also life. Many players came to Rivera's support after his firing.

A deal for Rivera could come the same day as black Monday, with teams moving on from its coaches and making quick bids for the respected coach. Bringing a coach like Rivera would instill discipline and accountability to whichever team signs him.

It won't be long before Rivera finds a job and begins a turnaround in only a matter of time.
