Longtime Houston Texans star JJ Watt will be a free agent this spring after the two sides mutually agreed to part ways.

Might the three-time Defensive Player of the Year keep things in the family as he prepares for the next chapter of his football career?

The Pittsburgh Steelers are currently one of the betting favorites to land Watt. Both of Watt's brothers—TJ and Derek—play for the Steelers, and TJ almost immediately tweeted at his older brother after Watt revealed he was leaving the Texans.

Other top favorites include the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Green Bay Packers and Baltimore Ravens. All three teams could have a strong case to present to JJ Watt.

The Buccaneers are fresh off a Super Bowl title, and will need to address the front seven with all of Shaquil Barrett, Ndamukong Suh and Lavonte David headed to free agency.

There is a hometown connection for Watt with respect to the Packers. Watt is from Pewaukee, Wisconsin and also played for the Badgers in college. Plus, Watt's wife, Kealia Ohai, is a star for the Chicago Red Stars of the National Women's Soccer League. Watt could be closer to his wife while also filling a hole for a Packer team in desperate need of added pass rush.

The Ravens already have a stout line, but outside linebacker Matt Judon and defensive end Yannick Ngakoue will both free agents. Signing with Baltimore would also allow Watt to play against his brothers twice a year.

JJ Watt will have some time to think about his future. But suitors around the NFL are likely to be lining up their pitches.
