Memphis Grizzlies rookie point guard Ja Morant says the Houston Texans made a big mistake by trading Pro Bowl wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins to the Arizona Cardinals on Monday.

However, Morant is looking forward to watching Cardinals games in 2020.

The Hopkins trade shocked the sports world on Monday. Moreso than usual since there are no games going on because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The NBA suspended the season last week after Utah Jazz big man Rudy Gobert tested positive for the coronavirus. After that sad news, Jazz shooting guard Donovan Mitchell tested positive as well. That was then followed by Detroit Pistons center Christian Wood.

The MLB, NCAA and NHL have suspended play. So, NFL free agency is the only thrill sports fans are getting right now and they aren't going to take it for granted.

Both Hopkins and Morant are superstars in their respective sport. DeAndre caught 104 balls in 2019 for 1,165 yards and seven touchdowns. Meanwhile, Morant is averaging 17.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 6.9 assists while shooting 49.1 percent from the field, 36.7 percent from beyond the arc and 77.0 percent from the free-throw line this season for Memphis. Ja is the front-runner for the 2020 NBA Rookie of the Year Award.

The Cardinals now have Kyler Murray, DeAndre Hopkins and Larry Fitzgerald leading the charge on offense. Arizona won only five games in Murray's rookie season, but the former No. 1 overall pick played really well, winning the Rookie of the Year Award.

The Grizzlies, meanwhile, are led by Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. Memphis is in the eighth spot in the Western Conference NBA standings.

Hopefully, the NBA season resumes so we can see Morant and JJJ in the playoffs against LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers currently have the No. 1 seed in the West.
