NFL commissioner Roger Goodell continues to dish out praise to those who have served as catalysts in regards to bringing social and racial issues to light throughout the league. While most recently mentioning the likes of safety Eric Reid, wide receiver Kenny Stills and safety Malcolm Jenkins, Goodell obviously couldn't leave out former San Francisco 49ers and current unrestricted free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who the NFL commissioner mentioned as well.

While the rest of this quartet has remained in the NFL since starting to take a stand against social and racial injustices, Kaepernick has yet to find his next home around the league, via Twitter.

However, due to the recent developments throughout both the league and the United States of America as a whole, the likelihood that Kaepernick will once again find work as a professional quarterback has never been better.

Kaepernick has not played in a game in the league since back in 2016 while spending his entire six-year playing career with the aforementioned 49ers. He most notably helped lead San Francisco to an NFC Championship and Super Bowl appearance in 2012.
