The Philadelphia 76ers over the last few years, the organization has assembled a roster headlined by young and promising talent through the NBA Draft.
With that in mind, Joel Embiid has made it clear to both teammates Ben Simmons and Markelle Fultz, who are also top-five draft selections, that it will be crucial for them to stick together by filtering out any outside noise directed toward them.
Embiid "The main thing we have to do is just stay together, because I feel like there's going to be some type of situation where people say who is better between us three (Embiid, Simmons, Fultz). And that's how it splits."

Much of that chatter could be directed at Fultz given that he has struggled tremendously through the first couple of months of his rookie campaign. There has already been much scrutiny on his shoulder injury that has affected his shot and forced him to miss several weeks.
Once he makes his return to the court in the coming weeks, there may be much of that thrown his way if he either struggles or continues to shoot the ball in an odd manner that he had been prior to being declared out due to his shoulder injury. There are many different directions that this could all transpire, but Embiid's approach to handling it internally beforehand could go a long way in preventing any possible issues from arising.
All of this may ultimately hinge on what type of player Fultz shows to be upon his return and what kind of success the 76ers has behind their young talent this season and beyond it.
