It was a tale of two halves of the season for Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals. The 10-2 start along with seven straight wins to open the year brought about serious excitement mixed with expectations with what their team could achieve.

But injuries and subpar play derailed what seemed like a promising campaign destined for a deep playoff run. Instead, a Wild Card thrashing at the hands of the Super Bowl-bound Los Angeles Rams ended their season.

During the Pro Bowl festivities, Kyler Murray spoke out on what's to come for his Cardinals and how they get to where they want to go.

“I wouldn't get into too much detail, but just get better,” Murray told azcardinals.com on Saturday. “I think there are a lot of things we all need to address individually. Team-wise we understand kind of what happened, how we get there. We've got to do it together. Obviously everyone has to work hard individually. When we come together we've got to be ready to go, because it doesn't get any easier.

“We made strides throughout the three years I've been here but we haven't reached that ultimate goal.”

Despite the disappointing result, Arizona has continued on its upward trajectory for the last three seasons. They've improved every year since the tandem of Murray and head coach Kliff Kingsbury arrived, with their sights set on even bigger goals next season.
