Arizona Cardinals rookie quarterback Kyler Murray has high goals for his career and won't stop until he is one of the best to ever play the game.
Per the Cardinals' official team site:
“What fuels me?” Murray said. “I would like to be the best to ever play the game.”
In Week 1 during the first half Murray looked like he was definitely making his first career start, and really struggled to make even simple throws. He didn't hang his head, though, and instead kept fighting through the struggles until everything clicked. In the fourth quarter, he was strong and did enough to lead the Cardinals to a tie.

“I really don’t know,” he said. “I just come here every day ready to work, try and work hard every day and get better each and every day. I’m not really trying to, I guess, win the guys over. That’s who I am. I just play hard no matter the circumstance, and that’s what that was this past weekend. That’s what I do. I’ll never quit no matter if we’re down 40 or whatever.”
If Murray can continue to bring that attitude every week, and he makes the simple throws he was missing the first half, he has a chance to be a very good quarterback in this league for a very long time. Who knows maybe one day he will be called one of the best to ever play the game.
