It's been an up and down rookie season for Kyler Murray of the Arizona Cardinals. Now he gets a tough matchup against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 9. At times Murray has looked like the rookie of the year, and other times he has looked like a rookie who is still trying to get his feet wet in the NFL.

This isn't going to be an easy test against the 49ers so which Murray is going to show up? Let's breakdown three bold predictions for the former Oklahoma Sooners star.

3. Murray throws for under 130 yards

The 49ers defense is number one ranked against the pass giving up only 128.7 yards per game through the air. Only a couple of weeks Murray struggled to pass the ball against a bad New York Giants defense throwing for only 104 yards. Even though the Cardinals won that game, Murray didn't look good, and that type of play is going to show up in this game.

The Cardinals might be down big in this game, which could force the Cardinals to pass but the 49ers defense doesn't let up and even then it's going to be hard for Murray to throw the ball.

It wouldn't be that shocking if Murray ends right around the 100-yard mark in this one.

2. Murray is sacked at least five times

Murray has been sacked 26 times this year and that number is going to balloon even higher on Thursday night. On the season the 49ers have racked up 27 sacks with Nick Bosa racking up seven of those.

The Cardinals offensive line is going to have all kinds of issues keeping Bosa out of the backfield and Murray will probably continue to hold onto the ball too long.

It's going to be a long night for Murray who is going to be picking himself up off the field a lot.

1. The Cardinals will score under 10 points

The 49ers on the season are giving only 11 points per game which ranks 2nd in the NFL. In this game, the Cardinals and Murray are going to do their job to lower that number a little bit. Against the New Orleans Saints, the Cardinals only scored nine points and now they face an even tougher defense.

It's going to be a long game and Murray is going to show very clearly that he is a rookie quarterback that still needs some time to get adjusted to the league.

This feels like a 31-6 type of game with the 49ers winning in blowout fashion.
