A lot of people have come out and marched on the streets to protest the death of George Floyd and countless others at the hands of police. Just recently, Atlanta Falcons head coach Dan Quinn also joined the protests in calling for police reform and stopping racial injustice, particularly for the African American community.

Per Vaughn McClure of ESPN, Quinn was joined by the team's general manager, Thomas Dimitroff, as well as “fellow members of the Atlanta Falcons' organization.” Those fellow members included other coaches, some players and even some other random staffers.

Dan Quinn has been the head coach of the Falcons since 2015. In his time with the team, he has a 43-37 record and has taken them to the Super Bowl once.

So far, it seems like he has a good relationship with his players on the Falcons, and this recent act might give you an insight as to why that is. Quinn is more than just a “football guy,” and participating in a peaceful protest shows the type of person that he is.

This is a massive conversation point and major issue in today's world. You will be hard pressed to find many topics that last for very long until someone steers the conversation to the protests and justice system reform.

So while there will be some that will get angry and tell players to stop getting political, they will just have to deal with it. This is an issue that is not going away unless people speak up.

Dan Quinn made it pretty clear what side he is on with these protests, and you have to give him a ton of credit for that.
