The Baltimore Ravens rose to the top of the league earlier than expected. It seems as though they are here to stay. Baltimore saw great success in 2019 going 14-2, finishing as the No. 1 seed in the AFC, and having Lamar Jackson win the league's MVP award.

Of course, all of this was in the regular season. Jackson and the Ravens fell to 0-2 in the postseason over the last two years. They were run over by Derrick Henry and the Tennessee Titans. The Ravens have bigger hopes this season which includes a Super Bowl or bust mentality.

Before that can happen, they have to get through their regular season schedule. The Ravens have one of the easiest schedules in the league this season which means they should have no trouble returning to the top of the AFC.

Week 1 – Cleveland Browns: Win

The Browns have given the Ravens problems over the years. At the end of the day, Baltimore has a championship on their minds and they have to set the tone in Week 1. They have too much firepower for Cleveland early in the season.

Week 2 – at Houston Texans: Win

These next two weeks will be the toughest part of the season for the Ravens. This one should not be too much trouble. As long as Bill O'Brien is the head coach in Houston, which will be for a while given that he is also the general manager, they will not be successful. What a shame for Deshaun Watson.

Week 3 – Kansas City Chiefs: Loss

The Ravens have this one circled. These two teams met Week 3 last season and it was one of the games of the year. New year, same result. Jackson may have won MVP but Patrick Mahomes is in a universe on his own right now. Baltimore fans will not like to see this but Kansas City is the reigning champ and still the team to beat.

Week 4 – at Washington Redskins: Win

The NFL did the Ravens a big favor following the Chiefs' game by sending them to Washington. The Redskins have actually won the previous two meetings against the Ravens. But simply put, they are a lot worse and the Ravens are a lot better. The new regime in Washington will help but they have no way to score points to keep up. Ravens roll in this one.

Week 5 – Cincinnati Bengals: Win

Bengals, Joe Burrow

This will be a nice welcome to the league greeting for Joe Burrow. The Ravens' defense will look to send a message to the rookie, and let's not forget they added Calais Campbell. Ravens roll for the second straight week.

Week 6 – at Philadelphia Eagles: Win

The Eagles added some pieces and will have Carson Wentz healthy. They will look to compete in the NFC East but that is very different than the AFC North. Philly plays well at home but they are not ready to be that championship contender once again.

Week 7 – Pittsburgh Steelers: Win

The Ravens and Steelers have given the world some all-time battles. Ben Roethlisberger is back under center for the Steelers and their defense is strong once again. What the Steelers don't do well is run the ball. The Ravens averaged over 200 rushing yards per game last season and just got stronger adding J.K. Dobbins in the draft.

Week 8 – BYE

Week 9 – at Indianapolis Colts: Loss

The Colts are ready this season. They now have a quarterback in Philip Rivers who will be looking to finally win the big game at the end of the season. He can make a statement by taking down the Ravens, who could come in sleepwalking after the bye.

Week 10 – at New England Patriots: Win

Tom Brady is gone. The Patriots did not draft a quarterback. There is much confusion around the NFL world but one thing we are certain is that Bill Belichick has a plan. That plan will not help in Week 10. Baltimore steamrolled New England in 2019 and they can do so once again.

Week 11 – Tennessee Titans: Win

Derrick Henry, Titans

Revenge. The Ravens were bounced during the postseason by Henry and the Titans, and they made it look easy. This is a chance for the Ravens to let all of their pent-up anger out. This is another game they will have circled.

Week 12 – at Pittsburgh Steelers: Win

By Week 12, the Steelers will be in contention for the postseason and will need this win to solidify their spot. However, Baltimore will not let them get it. The Ravens will once again establish the run and put up too many points for the Steelers to compete with.

Week 13 – Dallas Cowboys: Win

This is an intriguing matchup. Dallas can run the ball well and added a new weapon in CeeDee Lamb. The question is, can they stop the attack of Baltimore? That answer is probably not. With the game being at M&T Bank, the edge has to be given to the home team.

Week 14 – at Cleveland Browns: Loss

We're looking at a lot of emotion over the course of four weeks for the Ravens. They will take on New England, which his always personal. They play the team that knocked them out of the postseason followed by their biggest rival in Pittsburgh. And of course, a big win over Dallas. Now, it's time to go to Cleveland where they have a history of getting tripped up. Here it is once again.

Week 15 – Jacksonville Jaguars: Win

There might not be an easier finish in the NFL. You never want to lose a game but the Ravens do not have to worry much about the Cleveland loss in Week 14. They can throw their helmets on the field and win the final three. It begins with a blowout against the Jaguars, who are the favorites to land the No. 1 overall pick.

Week 16 – New York Giants: Win

There is always hype around the Giants. New York fans go into every season thinking their team is going to compete but they are not close. Dave Gettleman continues to struggle in the draft and who knows what Joe Judge can do as a head coach. Baltimore could light up the scoreboard in this one. Take the Ravens and the over in this one.

Week 17 – at Cincinnati Bengals: Win

Every team wants to roll heading into the postseason. The Ravens could be in a battle for the No. 1 seed in the AFC and they will not get tripped up again on the road. Their offense is just too much for the rookie to handle in Cincy.
