Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson's ankle injury held him out of Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers, but there's been some question as to the true nature of the quarterback's ailment. Well, when asked for clarification, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh was seemingly unwilling to give a straightforward response. Via Luke Jones, Harbaugh reportedly didn't want to “get into the details” of the true nature of Jackson's injury, but insisted he's hopeful the Ravens QB will practice on Wednesday.

The Ravens initially described Jackson's injury as an ankle sprain, though Harbaugh clarified it wasn't a high ankle sprain. The team then backtracked, however, instead claiming it was a bone bruise on Jackson's ankle.

It makes sense that reporters would be curious for further explanation into the Ravens' star quarterback's injury, but Harbaugh seemed unwilling to reveal anything more than he did. It looks as if we'll just have to see how Jackson progresses throughout the week ahead of Baltimore's Week 16 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.

With Jackson sidelined in Week 15, Tyler Huntley stepped in for Jackson and performed admirably, scoring a pair of rushing touchdowns to go with two passing touchdowns in the 31-30 loss, a feat even LJ himself has never accomplished in the NFL. If Jackson is unable to suit up against the Bengals, Huntley will likely be called upon once more to fill the void left by the Ravens' starter.

Following Sunday's loss, the Ravens are 8-6 on the year, and will need to end the season on a strong note in order to secure a spot in the playoffs amid a crowded field of teams vying to get in.
