Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson established himself as one of the most explosive players in the league last season. It seems he hopes to rely much more on his arm than his legs in the 2019 NFL season.
Baltimore has been adamant about getting Jackson's arm on par with his running ability this offseason. He said during an appearance on Mad Dog Sports Radio that he expects to throw at least 30 times a game this year.

It is encouraging to see Jackson is confident about his development working within the pocket this offseason. Regardless, it will be interesting to see if his prediction comes to fruition.
Jackson did not attempt more than 30 passes in any of the eight games he played in as a rookie. The prospect of him suddenly churning out this many attempts on a consistent basis may seem a bit far-fetched, however, it is indicative of the type of balanced approach the Ravens hope to take on offense.
As dangerous as Jackson is with his legs, his performance in the playoffs proved that he can become one-dimensional if he is unable to pick apart defenses through the air. Fortunately, there is plenty of optimism coming out of Baltimore that he is poised to become the NFL's next premier dual-threat quarterback.
