The Baltimore Ravens have now lost two straight crucial matchups in recent weeks. Quarterback Lamar Jackson is looking forward to getting back into the win column against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5.

Unlike the Ravens, the Steelers are coming off their first win of the 2019 NFL season. According to Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk, Jackson is expecting to face a hostile crowd in Pittsburgh.

“I know it’s going to be crazy. Steelers Nation is going to be pumped for the game. We’re going to have our Flock Nation in the building. It’s going to be a good rivalry. I’m ready,” Jackson said.

“It’s going to be pretty crazy. No Ben, a whole new team, new era. We’ve just got to get ready for it,” Jackson said.

It is no secret that the Steelers have undergone some significant changes this season. Of course, the most notable being the switch under center with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger out for the year. Meanwhile, backup quarterback Mason Rudolph was able to show plenty of promise during their dominant win against the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night.

Jackson has made tremendous strides in his accuracy this season and it has made him a much more difficult opponent to deal with for opposing defenses. Unfortunately, he struggled to take care of the ball after throwing two picks against the Cleveland Browns in Week 4.

Although Jackson has cooled off from his hot start to the 2019 NFL season, there is still good reason for him to be confident in Pittsburgh. If Baltimore hopes to bounce back with their first AFC North win of the year, both he and the defense must find a way to get back to their elite form.
