After winning the NFL MVP award last season, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has regressed this season in the passing game.

Jackson committed a career-high four turnovers in Week 8 against the Pittsburgh Steelers and ranks 27th in passing yards and 30th in completion rate.

During his media session with Ravens reporters on Friday, Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh talked about Jackson's struggles and what the star QB must do to improve his game moving forward.

“He still has a lot to learn, but the great thing about Lamar is he recognizes that,” Ravens coach John Harbaugh said, via Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com.

“He understands that people are making him the focus. He has got to find a way to tighten up his game and beat those things with precision and accuracy and his mind. They’re doing everything they can with a lot of smart and talented people to stop Lamar Jackson the week that they play him.”

In seven games this season, Jackson has thrown for 1,343 yards and 12 touchdowns. The Ravens' franchise player is completing only 60.5 percent of his passes.

Baltimore will look to get back in the win column in Week 9 versus the Indianapolis Colts. Both the Ravens and Colts are 5-2 on the season, so it should be an exciting matchup from start to finish at Lucas Oil Stadium.

All eyes, though, are going to be on Jackson to see if the explosive playmaker can snap out of his passing funk.
