The Baltimore Ravens have come out swinging in their primetime matchup against the New England Patriots. Running back Mark Ingram has certainly wasted no time in making his presence felt.

Ingram was able to gash the Patriots for 53 yards to put the Ravens offense in the red zone, via NFL Twitter:

Running back Gus Edwards came in one player later and punched it in from yards out to give Baltimore a 17-0 lead over New England. More importantly, they were able to keep the momentum on their side early on.

The Ravens were expected to have their work cut out trying to move the ball against what many have dubbed to be a historic Patriots defense. They have managed to stick to their blueprint as the best running team in the NFL with Ingram serving as its central force in the backfield.

Baltimore will undoubtedly need to play mistake-free football the rest of the way if they hope to hand New England their first loss of the 2019 NFL season.
