In what would be the weirdest Christmas list ever made, the Cincinnati Bengals are rumored to want either Jay Gruden or Hue Jackson to join the franchise.
Over at Pro Football Talk, Mike Florio says the following:
There’s talk in league circles that the Bengals are hoping for a reunion with Hue Jackson or Jay Gruden. Both served as offensive coordinators under Marvin Lewis, and both got plenty of solid performances from quarterback Andy Dalton. Either would be the next head coach of the team.
That seems … yikes!

This all stems from the idea that Marvin Lewis, who is still somewhat claiming he hasn't decide to not coach yet, will become a front-office person for Cincy. Due to that, and his connection with both coaches, he would help the National Football League in targeting them.
Remember friends, Hue Jackson hasn't won a game in the NFL since dinosaurs were trotting about the planet. As for Gruden, I have no idea why he'd leave a decent situation for a not great one, or why the Redskins would want to trade him.
To be bluntly honest, this seems like high-level rumor mongering.
