The Denver Broncos are coming off a second straight season without a playoff berth following their Super Bowl title in Peyton Manning career finale. Although the last two years have been forgettable to say the least, the team has brought in a proven veteran at the quarterback position in Case Keenum.
The veteran quarterback is fresh off a career year with the Minnesota Vikings and is expected to make an impact in Denver. One thing is for certain during the 2018 NFL season for the Broncos, the team won't be playing the same offense with the veteran newcomer under center, via ESPN's Jeff Legwold.
“Last year’s [offense]?” Keenum said. “It’s over.”
The Broncos tied with the division rival Oakland Raiders for 17th in the NFL in total in 2017. The team averaged only 18.1 points per game with only five teams in the league averaging less last season.

“I don’t know [that] what we were doing for most of last year was a good fit for us … we didn't look like we were doing what our guys could do or had a good feel for.”
Fortunately for Denver, head coach Vance Joseph and company have an opportunity get back on track with a more dependable and experienced option under center next season. Although it remains to be seen if Keenum can carry over his success from Minnesota, the team has high hopes for what they can do in 2018 even in a highly competitive AFC West division.
