The Buffalo Bills are optimistic that LeSean McCoy will suit up and play against the New England Patriots on Monday night, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
“The word is (McCoy) feels good and there is some optimism that he’ll play for the Buffalo Bills. At the very least, it seems, (the Bills) will be full strength against the Patriots on Monday Night,” Rapoport said (h/t BillsWire).
McCoy suffered a concussion on the second play of the Bills' ugly 37-5 loss to the Indianapolis Colts this past weekend. He has practiced in a limited capacity this week, but it's looking like there's a good chance the running back will give it a go for the heavy underdogs. Buffalo is currently a whopping 14-point underdog at home against New England, per BetOnline.ag.
McCoy has been banged up for much of the season. He missed most of the preseason with a hamstring injury and dealt with a rib injury earlier in the regular season.

He started to find a groove earlier this month when he rushed for 85 yards on 24 carries and 73 yards on 16 carries in back-to-back weeks, but then he suffered the concussion last week.
Despite McCoy's injury issues, he still leads the Bills in rushing. Chris Ivory is second on the team in rushing with 210 yards on 67 carries. Rookie quarterback Josh Allen has the most rushing touchdowns on the team with three.
