It's been nonstop action in the NFL recently and it won't stop anytime soon. With multiple teams interested in trading for Deshaun Watson, the rumor mill will be in full swing until a deal is complete. The Carolina Panthers have shown interest in the star quarterback since last year and Christian McCaffrey could be a trade piece this offseason.
According to ESPN, the Panthers, “are indeed ‘very interested' in Watson, as they have been for a while.” Carolina has the pieces necessary to be a great team but struggled due to poor performances from the quarterbacks last season. Deshaun Watson would elevate this offense to new heights, making them an early favorite to win the NFC South Divisional Championship.
To make a deal come to fruition, the Panthers may have to trade Christian McCaffrey to the Houston Texans. However, the front office, “would be even more inclined to keep CMC around with Watson in the fold, to maximize his ability to win,” per ESPN.

Carolina would have one of the most dangerous offenses in the league with Deshaun Watson and Christian McCaffrey leading the way. Additionally, DJ Moore would finally have a competent quarterback throwing him the ball which could lead to a monster year for the young wide receiver.
We'll see how it all plays out, but the Panthers are a legitimate option for Deshaun Watson. If Carolina can keep McCaffrey while adding Watson to the lineup, then this franchise immediately becomes a playoff contender.
