Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy strongly believes that wide receiver Allen Robinson should have be included in the 2020 NFL Pro Bowl.
“A-Rob is a pro,” Nagy told reporters when asked about Robinson. “I'll just leave it at that. A-Rob, he's special. A-Rob, he's unbelievable. Unbelievable. That word snub. A-Rob is unbelievable and needs to be on the Pro Bowl.”
Robinson currently has 83 catches for 1,023 yards and seven touchdowns. It is the second time Robinson has accumulated a season over 1,000 yards.
Since joining the Bears in 2018 on a three-year, $42 million contract, Robinson has been a safety blanket for quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. Robinson is known for catching 50/50 balls and being a red zone threat.

This season is the best for Robinson in terms of catch percentage, with 63.8%, over four percent better than it has been anytime in his career. Robinson is 13th in the league in receiving yards.
Robinson was beat out by Julio Jones of the Atlanta Falcons, Michael Thomas of the New Orleans Saints, and Mike Evans and Chris Godwin of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for spots in the NFC.
It is very possible that Robinson will be able to participate in the 2020 Pro Bowl though, as many players elect not to play as they overcome injury or want a break after a long and grueling season. Robinson can continue to add to his Pro Bowl pedigree in the last two games of the season.
