The Cincinnati Bengals are banged up heading into Sunday's matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. Both teams need this game to keep their playoff hopes strong.

On Friday, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said that Joe Burrow will have no limitations Sunday. Burrow has been dealing with a dislocated finger he sustained in last week's loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.

Burrow reportedly is throwing normally at practice Friday, without wearing a glove. Burrow, while speaking to the press, said of the injured finger that it “feels pretty good” and that he has adjusted his grip a bit on the football.

Meanwhile, running back Joe Mixon did not practice all week with a non-COVID related illness. Wide receiver Tee Higgins hurt his ankle this week, but according to Bengals coach Zac Taylor, Higgins is expected to play Sunday.

Week 14 is a crucial game for Cincinnati. They are 7-5, a game behind the Baltimore Ravens, who sit atop the AFC North. They easily handled Baltimore last month, so they currently hold the tie-breaker via the head to head victory. In Week 16, the Bengals will host the Ravens. That game will go a long way to deciding who wins the division.

Cincinnati's opponent Sunday, the San Francisco 49ers, are also dealing with injuries to key players. Running back Elijah Mitchell is dealing with a knee injury, as well as a concussion he sustained. He is yet to practice this week and looks questionable at best to suit up.

Also, break out star wide receiver Deebo Samuel is yet to practice. He missed last week's game with a groin injury. If he were to miss the game Sunday, George Kittle might be very busy again as the team's top target.
