The Cincinnati Bengals aren't messing around when it comes to their secondary so far this offseason. After agreeing to terms earlier this morning with Chidobe Awuzie, the Bengals have now added Mike Hilton and swiped him away from the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Hilton is a legit slot corner who will fit right in on this Bengals defense. They have Mackensie Alexander who plays the slot, but Hilton is an upgrade and it's a tad sweeter for Cincinnati considering they pulled him away from their division rivals in Pittsburgh.

The Bengals have other needs, primarily on the offensive line to protect No. 1 overall pick Joe Burrow, but they have spent the first two days of free agency adding to the defensive side of the ball.

Yesterday they made a big splash when they agreed to a deal with pass rusher Trey Hendrickson. Hendrickson was highly coveted by many but ultimately took a four-year, $60 million offer with Cincinnati.

And today it's been Awuzie and Hilton.

Hilton is tied for the second-most sacks by a defensive back with Logan Ryan since 2017, with 9.5. He's second in tackles for loss amongst all defensive backs with 30 since 2017, behind only Jamaal Adams.

He's a physical, in-your-face corner that loves to blitz. He embodied what Pittsburgh Steelers defense is all about and now, he takes it over to Cincinnati.

This is one of those sneaky moves that will pay off big time for the Bengals and will sting Pittsburgh along the way.

The Bengals will have more moves to make. Getting Mike Hilton on their defense is a hell of a start.
