Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is coming off a terrific sophomore season highlighted by an epic run to the Super Bowl. Despite his achievements and spectacular growth so far, the 25-year-old signal-caller is not getting complacent.
Burrow opened up about his offseason plans with the Bengals as their offseason team activities get underway. While a lot of other young QBs have a specific focus on what to work on and improve in their respective plays, the former LSU star is different.
Speaking to reporters, Burrow expressed his desire to improve his overall game. After all, he has already led the Bengals to the Super Bowl with his skills, and a little more growth from him could just be what the team needs to get the job done the next time around.
Article Continues Below“It’s really just my entire game at this point,” Burrow said, per Larry Brown Sports. “Tweaking little things here and there. At this point, I’m not going to have a big overhaul of anything that I’m doing. I’m just looking to refine my entire game as a whole.”
Joe Burrow finished the 2021 regular season completing 366 of his 520 pass attempts for 4611 yards and 34 touchdowns. That's already a massive improvement from his rookie numbers, and by the looks of it, he's going to surpass those come his third year.
The growth of the young QB will be crucial for the Bengals and their Super Bowl dreams. Lucky for the, Burrow has the right mentality even this early in his career.
