The Cincinnati Bengals are on some sort of a Cinderella run in the 2022 NFL Playoffs mainly because of Joe Burrow, whose confidence is growing each week. Confidence is something that Burrow has never lacked in his football career, and he's got a ton of it. In fact, it even spilled into basketball. Wait, what?
Here's Taylor Rooks of Bleacher Report with a hilarious story about the time Burrow believed he could deal heavy damage in the NBA.

It really takes bravado to succeed in the NFL, especially for a quarterback. And there are not a lot of better stories encapsulating Burrow's confidence than what Rooks just shared following the Bengals' road win over the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.
Burrow has not played college basketball but was a star for his high school team back in Ohio. At 6-4, Burrow's got good NBA height, but even then, scoring 15 points in an actual game is no easy challenge — unless he's scoring each basket like touchdowns. In any case, he's already been acknowledged by Los Angeles Lakers star forward LeBron James, so at least the Bengals signal-caller has that.
