It is not only LeBron James that Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow impressed on Sunday. Even Brooklyn Nets superstar James Harden couldn't be more hyped after watching them take down the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC title game.
On Twitter, Harden didn't hold back his excitement as Burrow and the Bengals sealed their ticket to the Super Bowl. He also called Burrow a “shooooter” after ensuring Cincinnati's win in overtime despite trailing by as much as 18 points in the game.
Burrow to the bowl! 🗣 SHOOOOTER
— James Harden (@JHarden13) January 30, 2022
Joe Burrow finished with two touchdowns in the contest, completing 23 of his 38 passes for 250 yards and just one interception. He led the Bengals' attack all day long, and it paid off big time after they got the job done despite initial fears when the Chiefs won the coin toss in OT.
It is the first time in 33 years that the Bengals will play in the Super Bowl, and it's undoubtedly an incredible turnaround for a franchise that was at the bottom of the AFC North standings a year ago.
Not to mention what Burrow had to go through to reach this moment. He suffered a knee injury that ended his rookie year prematurely, but in just in his second year and fresh from a devastating health problem, he has led his team to the big stage.
It remains to be seen if the Bengals can complete their Cinderella run, but there's no way we're betting against them.
