In what has already been quite a notable campaign for Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, he has now reached two more historic feats.
Burrow came into the Bengals’ Week 17 showdown against the Kansas City Chiefs with 4,165 passing yards and 30 touchdown passes on the season. While his play was not enough to earn him the first Pro Bowl selection of his career, he still has had his way against opposing secondaries over the course of the campaign.
More so, Burrow needed a mere 129 passing yards and four touchdown passes to notch the Bengals franchise records for these two stats. Former Bengals quarterback and current Chicago Bears passer Andy Dalton set both of these records over his 2013 campaign, which included 4,293 passing yards and 30 passing touchdowns.
It did not take long for Burrow to break these two records in Week 17. A 17-yard completion to Tyler Boyd in the second quarter gave him the record for the most passing yards in a season in Bengals team history.

Burrow sure is not done yet this year, especially as the Bengals will finish regular season play with a road matchup against the Cleveland Browns in Week 18.
Burrow simply continues to make a strong case to be among the more potent quarterbacks in the NFL.
