Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield was recently on the receiving end of criticism after a disappointing performance in their Week 6 matchup against division rival Pittsburgh Steelers. When asked about it, he went on to shun the outside noise with his straightforward response to Mary Kay Cabot:
#Browns Baker Mayfield on all the criticism he’s taking in the national media: “I don’t give a damn what they say”

The former Heisman Trophy winner failed to ball out in what could've been a statement game against the undefeated Steelers. He ultimately finished the game with a dismal tally of 119 passing yards on 10-of-18 passes completed along with a passing touchdown.
The Steelers' stifling defensive line haunted Mayfield all throughout the game as he was sacked four times and forced to throw two picks in the loss. His performance under center failed to get his teammates going with tight end Austin Hooper already leading the way with a subpar output of 52 receiving yards on five receptions.
Receiver Jarvis Landry was also limited with 40 yards on three touches while fellow wideout Odell Beckham Jr. had a rough outing with 25 yards on two catches.
The defeat dropped the Browns to a 4-2 record to sit at third place of the AFC North division. On the other hand, the Steelers remained in sole possession of the top spot in the same division with a 5-0 division for the first time since 1978.
Pittsburgh spoiled Cleveland's hot four-game winning streak and extended the Browns' struggles at Heinz Field to 17 games and counting. Mayfield and the rest of the team should quickly move on from the loss and focus on their next matchup against another division rival in the Cincinnati Bengals for Week 7 proceedings.
