In Week 5, the Cleveland Browns met the Indianapolis Colts. Cleveland got the better of the exchange and walked away with a 4-1 record (the first time in 26 years they've had that record). However, not everything was good news. Starting quarterback Baker Mayfield suffered a rib injury during the game.
That being said, Baker Mayfield has already had X-rays done on his ribs. According to Jake Trotter of ESPN on Twitter, those X-rays came back negative.
X rays on Baker’s ribs were negative per team

Okay, in case we have a Michael Scott situation here – negative is a good thing when it comes to this diagnosis of Baker Mayfield.
That means that they did not find anything wrong. Baker Mayfield might have some discomfort but it doesn't seem like anything is broken, fractured, bruised, punctured or anything else.
That is massive for the Browns. Baker Mayfield has had his struggles but for the most part he has been really solid this year.
More importantly, the team is 4-1. Losing your starting quarterback sounds like a perfect way to derail all momentum. So Baker Mayfield definitely dodged a bullet there.
It is still unclear what is going on with Baker Mayfield. If he is feeling discomfort and sore, he might sit out of practice for a day or two.
However, the fact that the X-rays came back negative means that there is no reason to believe Baker Mayfield won't be available by midweek and he will certainly be ready for their next game.
That next game is a big one too. In Week 6, the Browns meet up with their AFC North rivals – the Pittsburgh Steelers.
