It's quite obvious that the Cleveland Browns have several holes on their team to fix after finishing last season in the cellar of the AFC North with a 1-15 record.

In trying to address one of their biggest problems, the Browns used their first overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft on defensive end Myles Garrett out of Texas A&M, and so far, the team is liking what they see out of the 21-year-old.

And that no one seems happier on the Browns camp about Garrett's rapid development than Cleveland's defensive coordinator, Gregg Williams, who is full of appreciation of the rookie when interviewed by Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com

“I've never had a chance to draft the first overall pick ever, but I've had some pretty high draft picks,” Williams said, via Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot. “He's the one that has jumped out and fit in faster than any of the other ones, and I have had some really, really good ones. The reason that he moved up the depth chart was because of him and his teammates, not because of my evaluation.”

Cleveland had a porous defense last season, ranking 30th in scoring defense and 31st in total defense. The Browns' pass rush was barely existent, as they were 30th in the league in 2016 with just 26.0 sacks. With Garrett in tow, the Browns enter the new season with elevated hopes of a much effective pass rush.

The Browns are hoping that Garrett would amount to much more than the last Aggie product they selected in the first round.
