Free-agent defensive end Jadeveon Clowney and the Cleveland Browns are still engaged in talks, with both sides expected to arrive at an agreement in the coming days. In fact, the Browns are set to host Clowney for the second time on Monday in a bid to land his services heading to next season, per Josina Anderson.

Cleveland will be filling in a huge void in the trenches alongside star defensive end Myles Garrett with the potential arrival of the Clowney. Last year's other starter in Olivier Vernon is still dealing with a torn Achilles injury which is largely the reason why he remains unsigned.
Article Continues BelowAmid the ongoing buzz, this isn't the first time that the two sides have been linked with one another. Clowney had already been rumored to sign with the Browns last season but ultimately decided to take his talents to the Tennessee Titans instead.
In his lone season in Nashville, he notched 19 total tackles and a forced fumble through eight games played as a starter. Though his numbers aren't quite eye-popping, Clowney was still able to make an impact on the Titans' defensive rotation. However, his campaign was eventually cut short as he suffered a knee injury back in late November.
The promising run made by the Browns last season certainly made them an attractive destination for many free agents in the league. At the same time, Jadeveon Clowney is hoping that he can bounce back and get a second win in his career once he potentially reaches a deal with Cleveland in the coming days.
