With the news of Shederur Sanders starting for the Cleveland Browns against the Tennessee Titans in Week 14, the rookie has to learn from the mistakes made in the 26-8 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. While the Browns' rookie quarterback had an injury scare in the loss to the 49ers, it wouldn't be serious, as he's ready to hold on to his starter spot.

Despite the down outing from Sanders as he threw for 149 yards with one touchdown pass to go along with completing 16 of his 25 pass attempts, head coach Kevin Stefanski would name him the starter for next Sunday, via Mary Kay Cabot.

“Browns Stefanski said Shedeur Sanders will start next week against the Titans at home,” Kay Cabot wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

When Sanders would be asked about his thoughts on continuing to be named the starter for Cleveland, he would speak on being “thankful,” hoping for himself that he continues to play instead of watching on the sidelines.

“Yeah, of course, I'm thankful, in the midst of everything that's going on, wins, losses, anything, I remember when I wasn't playing it, you know,” Sanders said. “So I never forget that feeling, you know. So, I try my best to not let that happen again, you know, for me to be in that position, but we fell short today. You know, you just can't continue doing that, you can't continue doing that at all. So I know we let a lot of people down, we let the coaches down, as players and everything today, but, you know, we'll be ready to go next week.”

Still, Sanders would also admit after the loss that he needs to be better, especially to “rally everybody together when adversity is hitting,” via Zac Jackson of The Athletic. He looks to do that next Sunday when the Browns take on the Titans.
