Dallas Cowboys star running back Ezekiel Elliott has served his six-game suspension, clearing a path for him to return to action in Week 16 against the Seattle Seahawks. Per Kate Hairopoulos of The Dallas Morning News, All-Pro wide receiver Dez Bryant voiced that his teammate is anxious to get back on the field.

“I texted Zeke last week to talk to him, he's in great spirits,” Bryant said. “The passion he brings each and every day is crazy. He gets us juiced. And to have him back, I know he's licking his chops right now. I've seen a couple (pictures). He ready.”

Elliott has spent the last six weeks in an intense training regimen to stay in shape to help the Cowboys for a late-season playoff push over the final two games of the season. He hasn't played since November 5th against the Kansas City Chiefs, where he recorded 93 rushing yards and a touchdown.

The Cowboys will likely give Zeke a heavy workload in his first game back, which should provide a huge boost to the offense. He was putting together another stellar campaign before serving his suspension, recording 783 rushing yards and seven touchdowns in eight games played. This includes four outings with more than 100 yards on the ground.

The Cowboys are currently on the outside looking in at the playoff picture as they vie for the final Wild Card spot in the NFC. They need to win their final two games against the Seahawks and Philadelphia Eagles.
