Love them or hate them, the 11-1 Dallas Cowboys are generating huge ratings. The star-crossed rookie combo of Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott has reignited a huge fanbase that's been waiting quite some time for their franchise to return to dominance.
The television networks have taken notice, and they're acting accordingly.
Dallas' Week 15 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has been flexed into the Sunday night slot. Originally, it was scheduled for 1 p.m. ET.
The best show on turf

That's right, no team has ever played four straight games in primetime. The Cowboys are about to do so.
This past week, Dallas outlasted the Vikings in Minnesota on Thursday football. This coming Sunday night, they head to New York to take on the rival Giants.
After their matchup with the Bucs, the Cowboys will round out their primetime run on Monday night against the Detroit Lions in Week 16.
Given that the Cowboys will likely wrap up the NFC's number one seed by Week 17, their last game against the Philadelphia Eagles was unlikely to be flexed to the Sunday night slot. But now, it's technically not possible; the league allows a maximum of six primetime games for each team, and Dallas will have maxed out after their Week 16 bout with Detroit.
As the season winds down, the league and its networks (especially NBC) hope more and more people tune in to watch the resurgence of America's Team.
